My wife and I and a friend just hiked this tr...Hi,<br /><br />My wife and I and a friend just hiked this trail a couple of days ago. The road is closed so we had to walk almost a mile up the road to the trailhead and another mile back after the hike so it was more like a 5 mile hike than a 3 mile hike. The starting elevation, elevation gain, switchbacks and trudging through the patches of snow remaining in the forests made it even more difficult. This hike is not a walk in the park, but its worth it.
